5.99 Hair Cuts!

So, i was at starbucks.. as usual.. and I saw a big u-haul truck parked in the lot, that was advertising the Grand Opening of Great Clips-- al haircuts 3.99. Sweet! So i called to make sure, and they said it was 3.99, but this week it went up to 5.99 for the rest of June..still... a great deal! So i took the boys and they did a really nice job on their hair. Just thought I'd pass along a good deal! It is the Great Clips on 518/Broadway, next to Lenny's subs and Starbucks off Walnut.. near hwy 35.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield Care Van offers free immunizations and health screenings to children age birth to 18 years at neighborhood schools and churches.
The Vaccine Clinic offers $10 immunizations per child (not per shot) for children from birth to 18 years. Five locations in Houston on Airline Drive (two), S. Braeswood Blvd., High Star, and Wiggins St. in Jacinto City. Walk-ins or appointments are welcome.

There is a special event at the Pearland Library on Liberty drive today at 2:00 -- Face painting, Sand art and spin art.. hosted by PartyAnimals.

Also, Learning Express toy store is having a story time from 10:30 AM- 11:00 AM - in the Pearland Town Center near Barnes and Noble.

Groupon Today- Jumpin' jacks

Todays groupon is for a place called Jumpin Jacks.. while this is NOT in pearland.. it is not super (ok, maybe a little far) far.. and it is not a jump place, as the name would lead. It is off 1960 and 45, near the USA baby superstore-- which, as a side not, is a cool place to shop and check out different strollers. Anyway, it is an indoor play place for kiddos, and to me, is like one of those giant cat houses with all of the tunnels and ramps.. but human size! I have been taking my kids here since they were around 2 years old. The best part is the price.. it is only 1.00 per age, up to 6 i believe.. There are 2 sides to play on and you can stay and play as long as you like. It is definitely unique, and not a pre-fab slide and tunnel kind of place. Anyway, if you are looking for some indoor, AIR-CONDITIONED fun.. you should check it out! You are allowed to bring your own food in, and hey also offer low cost kid-favorite snacks/meals.

While I was flipping through my Disney Family Fun magazine today.. there was an ad for a new kit to teach spending, saving and sharing for kids. PNC bank teamed up with sesame street, and developed a DVD, jar labels, a parent book and a kid book... for FREE! I love free stuff.
